About us

Stephen was born to missionary parents, Don & Maydean DeLong, and spent the a good part of the first 15 years of his life in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.  He has 2 younger sisters, Elizabeth Joy and Lydia.  Yvonne was born into a pastor’s home – Gary & Karen Mills, and spent her growing up years in NY and NJ.  She has3 younger brothers, Stephen, David, and Timothy.   We met at Penn View Bible Institute in 1998 during Yvonne’s junior year and Steve’s freshman year.  We were married in August 2001.  After Steve graduated in 2002 we pastored for 3 1/2 years in Kokomo, IN before God released us to follow our missionary calling.  God is opening the doors for us to open a Christian Day School in San Pedro Sula, Honduras under ICHA.  We are excited to be able to have a small part in advancing God’s kingdom.  Our family includes 3 year old, Hannah Grace, and a little boy, Daniel Dale,  born October 26, 2007

  1. Praise the Lord for another Christian School. We are so excited about what God is doing around the globe through Christian Schools. You’re using the best curriculum too! I’m so proud of the Delongs and believe that God is going to use them mightily.
