It was a treat to be able to be together with all of my family, even if it was only for a short time. We haven’t all been together for almost 3 years so it was a special opportunity.

Even though we came home for reasons not too pleasant, we’ve had the privilege of spending about 2 weeks each with both sides of the family. We’ve also “tried” to get some much needed rest. But, all good things have to come to an end sometime…. Tomorrow we fly back to Honduras while most everybody is still sleeping or climbing out of bed. (6:00 am! We have to leave the house here at 2 am) But even though we have a 4 1/2 hr layover in Miami, we will be “home” by 2:00 pm. Please pray for us as we go back. We have some big challenges ahead!

It was so nice to have you all here again, even though we would have preferred it not to have been to say goodby to Joanna. How I miss her! I will treasure the fun times and bonding with all of you and especially Hannah and Daniel. Who would have thought that she would go from not liking me to wanting to stay here with me instead of going back to Honduras? It was crazy busy, but I loved it all and now hating the quiet house! Love you all bunches!
We continue to pray for you daily. Will be praying especially as you settle back into “life as usual” at home.
